So Pretty

In the back of my mind I knew it was there.  I've passed it scores of times since we moved into this house, but paid it no heed.
Until.

This past week!

My goodness, I had no idea this Camellia bush would burst out with snow white blossoms.

And in January, just like they used to do back home in Orlando.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Except I used to have pink ones and now I have white.

Lovely.

  4. They are beautiful Ann. My pink one is covered in blooms and about to burst out, I hope...weird warm weather is not helping my flowers.

  5. They are beautiful. I've never had one myself but maybe I should look for one to plant here in Florida.

  6. That's so pretty!
I don't think I've ever seen a Camellia bush...the leaves look waxy like a Gardenia; sorta.
I bet it put a smile on your face to see it and reminds you of your old home.

  14. I've never seen a camelia, and they are indeed pretty. The white is very pretty next to the foliage. A neighbour of mine redid their front yard with just white flowering shrubs and plants. It looks so refreshing.
Something about this flower looks abit like peonies, although smaller. Do you have peonies there?
I loved this, as it reminds me that some where there is sun and warmth. :)
