I thought I'd interrupt the flow of posts about Orlando Grandma's visit for a quick look at how my Christmas decorating attempts on my bird cage turned out.
Not, bad, not bad.
Although I realized that the snow is easily blown about. Windy evening last night with open windows means fake snow scatters a bit.
The little white angel is my mother's and I decided she looked perfect next to the old church door.
A little wreath on that door may be just the perfect touch, I think.
At night it casts a spiderweb effect up on the wall - very Hitchcock.
But with it's own Boston guarding it day and night my little cage should be quite safe.
Have a great weekend everyone.
Hope to have a post up about our tour of a studio here.
P.S. Does anyone know why certain words get underlined and highlighted on my posts?

I would never have thought to use a bird cage - unique and beautiful!
I don't see any highlighted or underlined words on your blog.
Love, sandie
This is very pretty! I also love your dog photo on the side bar; wishing you a very nice weekend!
I saw a Boston today n Pasadena!! Also love the Christmas bonfire scene! Have a fun weekend!
I do not see highlighted or underlined words on my computer; just a typical blogger glitch.
I love your birdcage...a lovely vignette. A little wreath on the church door would be just the ticket. Your bedecked Boston is adorable!! You have been very successful in festooning (is that a word?) your bird cage.
The " White Angel " has been around for many many years. From West Virginia at least, to Montreal , to Toronto and then Dunedin, Florida and then Orlando and now California. Guess I should sent you something that has really been around for a while ? The underlines _______, the " " " all mean WHAT ? ? ? ? The "Birdcage " is going get some help tomorrow - HOPE style , right ?
I love it! You are so clever. I hope you are enjoying your first California Christmas. Kit
Very cute, still on the lookout for my own birdcage...

Everything looks wonderful. Do you feel like it's your home yet?
Take care,

Ann,
I do like what you've done with the birdcage!
As well the Boston standing as sentinal, such a good idea. :)
Is the Boston on the sidebar, your photo? I think it is, but is it Sadie or Panda? :)
As far, as I see, there are no underlined or highlighted words in your posts, however, I've noticed some things acting up once or twice when I've written drafts, maybe just some glitches.

I was up before the rooster's today, hubs snoring away whilst I lay thinking of ways to silence him, so opted for get up early and get something done. I happened upon your site no doubt by the BOSTON part of your label. I love your post, your 4 leggeds and your stories. Wonderful blog. Tammy

Great job on the bird cage.
The
christmas Spirit is there.
I get the highlights also, I read it had to do with spelling if you are writing in another language.i thought I had them because some times I go to Spaish. I hope you enjoyed the Estate Sale, take care.
I love it! You are very creative. The Boston is adorable too. I will be decorating today...that is if I ever turn my computer off. You have a wonderful weekend too.

This little bird cage is adorable...I love the church door and angel!
all looks lovely together.
as to underlined words, I had that problem a few months back... when I was typing, but it finally stopped doing it. In the mean time, when I was posting, I made corrections myself. ***just go to the tool bar in blogger when you are writing a post and click on the "T" with a red "X" on it while you have the underlined word highlighted. It will correct any formatting on that word and you can then change it to the type, text, font, color, etc. to your liking.
That's how I did it.
Hope it clears up for you!
Pat
Absolutely delightful, love it! Cheers!
As you can see, I'm catching up. Blogger frustrates me so I think I stay away, I still could read blogs. My friend Gail is going to help me with some things next year. You would enjoy her posts, Ann. Her blog is Camera Crazy.
Anyway, I love what you did to your cage. The glow is lovely.
Keep decorating...
