Remember to Vote!

How lucky we are to live in this country where everyone has the right to vote and speak openly.
Most of us remember the first time we cast our first vote and the feeling that action brought.
Sadly, we can lose that excitement and passion as election campaigns drag on and turn unpleasant in tone.
Regardless of the outcome of the election, I am grateful to live in a country where I have a choice
and I choose to vote.
(Nope, won't say who for! )

Been there done that!

My youngest daughter came and picked me up Thursday and we voted early!
Be glad when this is behind us.

We three voted about two weeks ago. I expect long lines in the morning.

Love the Boston graphic :) I vote by mail and mailed mine in last Monday. Not sure I will be able to handle watching the results tomorrow, it may be too tense for me!

A great reminder to us all! I voted over a week ago and now all I have to do is just "wait" to see the outcome.

Take care. . .

It's going to be a very interesting election If it is as close as the polls say it is we may not know the results for days.

Really like this post, voting is what it's all about, no matter which country you live in. We take it for granted, but there are still places where it's almost impossible to vote...

I agree with you, Ann, it is so important to vote. I'll be watching here in Canada, for the election results as well!
Wishing your country all the very best!

This time out for election postage was paid on mail in / absentee ballots here in Florida. You have to live in another country or be away for a long time to really appreciate how lucky we have it here in the U.S.A. It is going to be a loooong day. Thanks for voting ! ! !
