The Californians

I believe this is the first time I've ever posted twice in one day....  Shows how much downtime I have....

OR.....

does it mean I heard from Ortho Doc???

Things happen fast around here when they finally happen, just like the cars on the freeways here.

Tomorrow morning I will be taking the 118 to the 405, getting off in Van Nuys right before the 101 to go right to the hospital for my surgery!  Surgery scheduler girl must have heard the desperation in my voice when I said, "What do you mean he might not do the surgery now?"

Of course she called the one minute I walked away from my phone, but was kind enough to leave a message letting me know that my finger and I should be present by 7am to check in for 10am surgery.

I thought we were at a dead halt.
But I've learned to stay on my toes around these parts.

Now, when we go back home I think Mr. T should take the 101 to the 170 and then hop on the 5 until he sees the 118 and take that to Sepulveda and then home.

(Hope you may have seen the Saturday Night Live skit about the Californians or this will sound absolutely bizarre.)

Ann,
I'm hoping that all went well with the surgery. :)
Soon, all this will hopefully fade into memory, and you will be feeling back to yourself. This was great news that your breathing issue also cleared up!
I loved your post just before this one, with the great recipe for lemons, and the funny story aout onions and Mr. T.
I must see if I can find this episode of Saturday Night Live!
Cheers!
Brenda
