Here's one of my latest "clients". A Doxie/Beagle mix.
We spent last weekend in each other's company and had lots of fun.
Three month old puppy kind of fun.
After the weekend things really started popping around Boston Manor.
On the not-so-good side,
The Maven is back in the hospital with a bad stomach ailment. Doc said she was very dehydrated and needed to have some tests done.
On the it-gets-better side,
she is doing better and didn't have appendicitis as they suspected she might. One more night and they should release her on Thursday.
Fortunately I did not have canine commitments on Monday and Tuesday so I drove up to LA with my computer. It was my first experiment in running my Japanese/English classroom from a remote location - The Writer and Sammy's house. I stayed there so I could dash to the hospital and dash back to their house to hold my classes. Went off without a hitch.
Which brings me to glasses....
The ones I lost in the move last year.
The ones that I searched for EVERYWHERE.
Including the computer case I packed my computer in when I was up in LA this week.
And no.
I did not find them.
Mr. T did.
When he unpacked said computer case last night when I came back home to Boston Manor.
Do you know how many times I looked in that computer case after the move?
Millions!
Trillions!
BaZillions!
Well.
At least I have them back now.
And a spare pair.
And it's only Wednesday as I write this.
Five canines in the next week starting today.
And my classes.
And all my glasses.
And The Maven. Who I hope will be back in ship shape!

Praying the Maven improves soon.
That is wild about your glasses!
Love the doggie photo!
Get well, Maven! We're all sending good thoughts your way. Love that Mr T found your glasses - men are always so good at finding things, right?
so sorry to hear that The Maven is back in the hospital. Praying for a quick and successful recovery.
That is funny that Mr. T found your glasses in your computer case. I'm with The Country Mouse about men being so good at finding things.
That's great that you were able to do your classes remotely and that your doggies are doing so well.CG
Well the Maven should be on the way home to Kitty land by now. YEAH ! YEAH ! Would be nice if they really found out what is going on.
Now on your last blog you had a guessing game of what you had found ! So I pegged it and Mr T. was the one that found it. Things that have been lost will ALWAYS be found in the last place you look ! ! !
Eyeglasses are very important in your life so glad you found them. Better late than never.
Lots of get well prayers go Wendy's way.
Ann,
What a wonderful story, the glasses were found!
I think many people can sympathise with looking, over and over in the same place for something. And then somehow having them miraculously found right in same place.
You are not alone. :)
Good to hear about the Maven, and that all is well.

Those glasses! I'm glad Mr. T found them, but doesn't it just irk you when the hubby finds something you have looked all over for!
That beagle/doxie is cute!! Have fun with all the dogs, and continuing good luck with your classes.
You are running around like a mad thing! Be careful now!
