Happy 4th of July From Our Neighborhood to Yours!

I've been meaning to take pictures of these Black-Eyed Susans along this fence to share with you.  The Maven, the Bostons and I pass them every day on at least one of our walks.  They are such a wonderful burst of color and I like the way they look up against the white fence.

Picture-taking-stalker that I am, I scurried away after shooting these because I saw a little girl peeking out the window when I put the camera down.  "MOM!  Now the two weird ladies who walk those funny looking black and white dogs are taking pictures of our fence!".

We also walk under a Pomegranite tree and I've been watching the growing  progress of the fruit.  When we moved here last year, this tree was full of ripe fruit and the birds and squirrels were having a field day.

This day they are still in the growing and ripening stage and a much smaller guest was having a snack.

A local business person was kind enough to put flags out in front of each house, covering many blocks in the neighborhood.  A patriotic soul in Orlando used to to the same thing in our old neighborhood. Made me feel right at home here.

Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July celebrating our wonderful country!

Those flowers are gorgeous! We live in such a cold mostly wet climate that pomegranates would definitely never grow here. Happy
4th of July celebrating your independence from us! Minerva x

Beautiful black eyed susans. Looks like a country home with the fence and flowers.
Now that pomegranate looks like some kind of alien egg pod ready to burst open with god-knows-what!! Sorry, I have been reading too many sci-fi books, lol!!!
Happy Fourth to you and yours!!

Wishing each of you a blessed holiday.

How interesting that you have pomegrantes, I imagine the birds and squirrels would find them delicious, indeed.
