Trying to Take a Family Portrait....

I just got these wonderful pictures from my niece, Cristine.  She was our official Christmas photographer and wrangled us all together for a "formal" family picture.  Well, you can imagine when you get The Weissmuellers, The Gibsons, The Simpsons, an Antolak, a Hughes and a Pinzon/Weissmueller all together.

A lot of out-takes!

First of all, where is Mr. Tennis?? Second, what are we all looking at up in the sky and Pete, please get your hand away from your face!

Better, but, uh Joe? Look at the camera and tell your sister, Victoria to take that sticker off her forehead!

Alright people, stop with the shenanigans! Gotta love the body language on Kurt looking at Pete and Cristine!

Finally, a semi-normal picture of our very blended family for Christmas 2010.  Wait a second! Joe! Stop rolling your eyes!

Last chance...

We aren't perfect, but at least we are all looking at the camera! Back row: The Maven, The Writer, Eddie and Maria, Kurt, Cristine and Pete. Middle:  Mr. T, me, Orlando Grandma and Richard. Front: Victoria, Joe and Valerie.

That's us in a nutshell! Thanks Cristine for recording the insanity!

I wonder what's more fun, the act of getting together to take the photo - or getting a good photo of everyone together - I guess both of it is fun. When you have family, you are blessed!

Thanks for sharing your family with us. Happy New Year!

I LOVE the third photo the best! That is the one I would pick because it is truly your family just being who they are!

Happy New Year,
Sue

Two important things, the final take and the fun we had while having the picture taken, thanks Cristine.
