Florida in February - You Never Know What You Will Get!

Last Sunday, Mr. Tennis and I were enjoying this.....

New Smyrna Beach, on Florida's East Coast.

And this...

Worth the drive!

Towards the end of the week, Darcy and Bumby were enjoying open windows
and light breezes....

This Sunday, we woke up to 34 degree weather and Sadie is looking like this.....

And Panda is seeking comfort with her latest "woobie",, the decapitated head of a
duck stuffie.

And I'm a happy camper because I'm not ready for the hot and humid temps yet!
Have a great week!

Great trip to be able to drive on the beach. I remember getting stuck when much younger ~ not bad and we got out quickly. Temperature in the 30's here in Florida ~ not good. Cold to me but I can remember skiing a long time ago when it was 40 below and that didn't bother me as much as this does today. Advantage of youth !

My little dog is doing the same thing, but the 3 year old human wants to get outside and play. I'm trying to keep him entertained indoors so I don't have to brave the cold. Wish me luck!

We went to the Daytona 500 in 1996 expecting warm, tropical temps - NOT!! I had to go to the Gap and buy sweatshirts and jackets and socks!! It was 85F here in Los Angeles on Wednesday and Thursday and yesterday it was in the low 60's and raining...We need rain desperately so our hills can grow back after our fire a couple of years ago...

Who knew I had so much to say abut the weather this morning?!? BOL!!

These are certainly nice pictures from your trip last weekend.
It's interesting how the pets seem to hunker down when temperatures drop - Herbert and Arthur do the same.
I'm not sure, but it does look like Bumby and Darcy seem more friendly with one another in the photo at the window.
It is cooler here this week as well (-21 to - 24)celsius. I can't open the windows yet. :)

Hello - the weather is changing here too - don't know one day from the next what the weather will be like.
And I love Sadie's blanket. And I love to be close to the ocean and the waves - if I was rich I would live on the beach! sandie
