Window Wars at Boston Manor

I've been a bit absent from blogland during the Christmas rush.  Didn't even take pictures during Christmas festivities because we were so busy enjoying ourselves.

I hope all my friends out in blogland have had a wonderful holdiay time.

The Bostons have enjoyed having the newlyweds around this week, but Bumby is still protesting the presence of Darcy.

She mainly avoids Darcy, but during her morning outdoor time she becomes quite bold in challenging Miss Darcy to a duel through various windows.

This morning it was at our french doors leading out to the back yard.

C'mon, c'mon you little pipsqueak!  You've been hounding me
for days, put up your dukes!

Sometimes it is all out war with both cats up on their back legs pounding the glass with their paws, but this morning Darcy seemed content to just watch Bumby issue her challenge.

What is that crazy recluse doing now?  Why doesn't she play with
me when she's in the house?

Hmmmph. I just DON'T understand you Bumby.

My secret weapon is actually to ignore you Bumby and make
your tail puff out in frustration.

Mission accomplished!

Now that I have a little down time I will make the rounds to read my favorite bloggers, which is all of you!
2012 is almost here!

Ann,
I enjoyed these pictures - they show clearly how Bumby feels about Darcy.Getting outdoors time gives Bumby a little edge in her situatiuon.:)
(I see you enjoyed the new Mission Impossible movie, Paul and I saw it together, and it was better than I expected too. Did you watch the t.v. series, years ago?)

Ah cats, I fear our Clovis would eat any cat we added to our household. Thanks for the movie review on the sidebar-I love the Dragon Tattoo books and will see that movie. I saw the Swedish film and liked it too.

You have sure had your little zoo crew the past week - and company too! No wonder you have been busy - but I know it was fun too! sandie

You certainly had a busy Festive period. We wish you all a very Happy New Year and a belated thank you for visiting us a while back when Molly was poorly. Thankfully she has made a full recovery from her back injury.
