Here's To A Good Week Ahead!

Things are feeling more relaxed around Boston Manor now that Mr. Tennis has made a triumphant return.  The flowers are blooming a bit, The Bostons are surveying the grounds with renewed intent and the birds...

The birds!
With all the excitement around here last week I completely forgot to check up on Rita the Wren's kids.

We missed it!
They have flown the coop.  Apparently my worried presence was not needed.

What an amazing architect and builder Miss Rita is.  I am always amazed by the construction of these nests.

Here's to a great week for everyone!

I agree with Chatty Crone-
You may have missed the miracle of flight...but you witnessed an even greater miracle in the tender-loving care bestowed on your husband... by Supernatural Hands!

I, too, am amazed at how well birds make their nests. First flight can be scary. Sometimes the babies have to cry out for their mom for a long time.

Love your flowers. My sister has a wren sitting on eggs in her grill. I have spent 2 hours weeding and need to eat lunch. I really need better organizational skills or some minions to order around. The puppy is a hoot, we are forever changed. Clovis is miffed but I am loving him extra.

I love seeing birds' nests = they are so intricate in their beauty. And mama and papa birds are always so devoted to their young.

So glad Mr. T is back where he belongs; let's keep it that way. And I loved Defending Jacob, too! Read a second book of his almost immediately after but didn't enjoy it nearly as much.
