Oh, To Be Miss Darcy...

She's been visiting a couple of days this week and taking full advantage of the pleasant spring temperatures.  Learning to be outside like her Aunt Bumby without running away.

She leads quite the life when she is here at Boston Manor...

"I would NEVER be allowed to get away with this!"
-direct quote from Bumby

...and provides us with many funny views of her face.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, so what?"
-so say The Bostons and Bumby, who have formed an alliance.

We all know how we like to spoil the grandkids, er kitties...

I know.  I know! Crazy Boston Lady.

That is so funny! I just had a similar conversation with my oldest daughter today...she was extolling the virtues of being 'the grand-daughter'...and something about getting away with murder...And how she herself, would have never gotten away with such rottenness as a child...my daughter, such a drama queen!

...cute kitty, Pat

SRC = Spoiled Rotten Cats . I have had many of those over the years and it looks like this is over the top to what I have done. Wonder what is going to show up next .

Miss Darcey does have a sweet face!
These pictures are great!
I've been setting down a new rule with my cats - no sitting on the table, or kitchen counters - if it all possible. :)
So, I've been rattling a tin canister filled with pennies to make my point - I don't recommend it for all cats - but by now I know my cats are pretty secure in their place, and aren't terribly frightened.
Still Herbert is miffed with me, and has stopped sleeping on my bed at night.

He is still allowed on the kitchen chairs, as is Arthur.

I think they would sympathize with Bumby, Panda and Maisie. :)

BTW, "Defending Jacob" has been on my Kindle wish list for abit - it does sound like an interesting read - thanks for your review.

I just saw a wonderful movie - "We Bought a Zoo", I think it's one you might enjoy.
