Images from Moving Day and Day One

It has been caaaaraaazy the last several days.

Movers arrived and successfully loaded our house up into the van.

The "head" mover confided to me that he had been Casey Anthony's bodyguard during her trial. By the looks of him, I believe him!

I was skeptical that it would all fit, but it did!

Long loading day.
Long driving day for Mr. Tennis today.  At least he had his able assistants...

We are settled into a La Quinta in Mobile, Alabama for the night.

Tomorrow, we aim for Lindale, TX.
(Waves to Pat from Corn in My Coffeepot - stop by and take a read! I know you are no where near there, but hey, we will be in the great state of Texas nonetheless!)

Over and out!

P.S. Herbert and Arthur admire the Bostons' fancy harnesses and envy them for getting to be co-drivers.

So close... yet so far!
Sadie looks like she is wanting doggie treats...
poor baby...she doesn't know how close she came to getting some, too!
She's lickin' her chomps.

Bon vogage, dear friend. Loved the picture of Mr. Tennis and the Bostons. So odd to see you house so empty after all these years. Glad that the van held it all. Have a safe trip. CG

Well I see things are "moving" right along. I am sure the Bostons are enjoying this adventure. Orlando G'ma said she has lost internet so I am sending info as it shows up here and and facebook. She is sending me email from somewhere ! NOTHING will happen if you take an extra day to keep safe and sound.

It always amazes me how movers can get everything to fit in a truck. Good luck and safe travels. I bet the Bostons are very puzzled as to what is happening.
Take good care. Looking forward to more news from the road.
I loved the California or Bust sign.
