S.E.B: Swap, Eat, Beach

For the Jersey Shore gang it's GTL (gotta google it if you don't know what that means), but for us Floridians in LA its SEB (Swap, Eat, Beach).  Started our day at the Trading Post (or Swap Meet) at Fairfax and Melrose.  You can see by the above picture that they have plenty of boots - there were the same amount on the other side of the rack!  And a little bit of everything else.

Mr. Tennis and Stanley made their getaway while the rest of us fanned out and looked for deals.  It's an eclectic collection of booths and a fascinating way to spend a couple of hours - for those of us who like such things....

Then it's time to "Eat" at a California burger favorite, In 'n Out Burgers.  This kind employee posed for me so I could capture the essence of the place.  Then Sammy took a picture of the Boston Family indulging in some tasty burgers.

Next on the agenda, of course, is "Beach".  We drove towards Santa Monica and parked and took in the views, dipped our toes in the very cold Pacific Ocean and posed for some pictures.

Then we walked towards Venice Beach, where anything goes.

And even though we've already done SEB.  We will E again tonight at The Writer's & Sammy's apt with The Maven and Stanley.

Stan The Man, out!

What a busy fun day. Anything goes 25 cents for WEED ! If it is a little chilly I am sure WE could spare 20 or 30 degrees.

Glad you are having a good time! And that water is COLD! It has been unseasonably cool this summer but no one is complaining! Have a fun week!

Take care, Sue

A fun time was had by all. I especially enjoyed our dinner at the apartment and being introduced to Yogurtland.
