I have a small assortment of the succulents that were wedding favors here at my house. They were looking really nice on the sill above my kitchen sink, but kept drying out too fast. I wasn't sure about how they would survive outside, so I got this from IKEA:
I've been looking for an old, small greehouse, but they have been elusive, so I thought I would give this cute modern version a chance.
I like the way the top windows open to vent and I can control the evaporation of the moisture somewhat.
Time will tell if the succulents like their new home...
Have a great week!

That little green house is so cute! I have an aloe plant beside my kitchen sink. I hardly ever water it because they like to be dry. I killed one because I over watered it! I also have some chickens and hens in some pots outside. I keep them out there all year round without any problems at all. They even get snowed on. They are a hardy little plant and the deer don't eat them!
Ohhhh I like that! I never think of going to IKEA. Maybe I should...
They look great. I hove they thrive so I can getr some cuttings fo add to my terrarium.
They onesthat were taken to Iowa traveled well and they seem to like it up there.
That looks like a great idea - from Ikea - I think they will do great - and they aren't close to me either! I really do not have a green thumb. :(

I love the little green house! I too put my succulent on my window sill in the kitchen and I love looking at it every day~ brings a smile to my face!
Ann,
Those succulents should do well in this greenhouse, and being able to open the top seems like a good idea.
The plants are really cute!
The greenhouse is a nice design too - a good find!
